Kuma Cherries
Us
History
Cultivating the future
In 2021, Kuma Cherries, the first professional cherry orchard in Asturias, was founded in the Allande municipality. Our goal is to create a new, highly profitable and competitive industry around cherry cultivation, taking advantage of the few opportunities that climate change offers us.
Crop
Cultivating Passion
Our plantation covers 11 hectares, where we focus on cultivating three very late-maturing varieties with high chilling requirements and high resistance to late rains, ideal for the current climatic conditions of our area. The entire plantation has a fertigation system, managed using the most advanced technologies for optimal resource use.
Quality
Unbeatable Flavor
The varieties we cultivate have lower yields than earlier varieties, but their organoleptic characteristics are unsurpassed. We prioritize quality over quantity. In every cherry we grow, our commitment to excellence is reflected. Our passion for offering an exceptional product drives us to go further, providing you with a unique and delicious flavor in every bite.
Commitment to territory and sustainability
Rural and local future
We believe in the importance of strengthening the rural economy and providing opportunities that allow people to thrive in their communities. Together, we work to create a future for rural areas and demonstrate that life and a future here are compatible.
We are committed to sustainability, promoting local and nearby commerce.
